Following an abundance of change in 2023, ZEST Collective’s sixth exhibition instalment Brief Attempt proposes new and exciting possibilities. With six new members bringing in new energy, ideas, and possibilities, the exhibition promises an eclectic mix of disruptive interventions and playful artistic responses marked by time.
Through newly forged friendships and collaborations, Brief Attempt explores the effects that access and time constraints can have on our work. We invite you to simultaneously witness and participate in the exhibition through an offering of twisted metaphors, frenetic interferences and hidden narratives.
Taking place in the iconic space at God’s House Tower, this exhibition featured new work from 16 ZEST artists:
Ellen Gillett, Net Warner, Lucie Smith, Alice Louisa, Bryn Lloyd, Poppy Ash, Rabia Raja, Kane Applegate, Anna Marris, Tom Stewart, Robin Price, Jim Elston, James Hunter, Alex Sutherland, James Hewins, and Sharlott Wardner
