MARYAM ZAHRA KAZIMI
DRAWING, Installation, intervention & socially-engaged art
Maryam Zahra Kazimi (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist, making work within the expanded field of drawing, at the intersection of installation, intervention, research-creation and socially-engaged art.
After completing her Foundation at City & Guilds of London Art School, Maryam studied Fine Art (Sculpture) at Winchester School of Art, with an exchange semester at Beaux-Arts de Paris. She recently commenced her postgraduate studies at The University of Oxford.
Maryam is the founder of 'Just Three Boys in Kimonos', a fictional art collective, comprising a group of philosophically-inclined housemates who cynically yet naively navigate creative expression, 'self-actualisation' and radical pedagogies through their respective art practices.
